SHIVANI SANJAY KOLEKAR received the bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from Shivaji University, India, in 2020. She is currently pursuing the integrated M.S. and Ph.D. degree with the Department of Artificial Intelligence Convergence, Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea. During her studies with Chonnam National University, she was a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant and also an Instructor through an international educational program. She has also been involved in interdisciplinary research on distributed systems for medical digital twins and AI models. Her research focuses on:

• efficient AI for networked and distributed systems
• federated learning
• communication-efficient learning
• fine-tuning large language models
